Provides patient care, clerical, and environmental control services in a clinical practice according to established policies and procedures. Is the role model and informal leader for other medical assistants in the department Utilizes information to continuously improve patient care and practice to enhance outcomes including communication to physicians regarding patient concerns and follow-up appointments, referrals maintenance, and emphasis on patient flow. Communicates/collaborates with physicians and staff to provide coordinated, safe and compassionate care for patients. Participates in continuing education activities that enhance employee's professional abilities and ensure up-to-date patient care. Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
